1. Information We Collect

Audio Data: StemX is a local-first tool. The songs you import, audio extracted from videos, vocal recordings, and the stems generated from them are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload any of your audio to our servers or any third-party servers.
Payment Information: We use the third-party service RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymized transaction-related data (such as receipt validation and subscription status). This data does not include your real name or detailed contact information.

2. Permissions We Request

Microphone Permission: Used only for the vocal recording (sing-along) feature. Recordings are stored locally on your device.
Photo Library Permission: Used only to read the video files you select for audio extraction and stem separation. Extracted audio is stored locally on your device.
Apple Music Library Permission: Used only for read-only access to songs already downloaded in your library for stem separation. We do not modify or delete any library content.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide in-app purchases, we integrate the RevenueCat SDK. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data. Other than this, we do not disclose your information to any third party.

4. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all audio and generated data is stored locally on your device, you can remove all data at any time by deleting the App or manually deleting the related files. Subscription records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat, and you can cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.
